The annual 3rd grade Ag-Awareness educational field trip will be held at the State Fair Facility in October 2007 and April 2008. This event can accommodate 7,200 youth and there is always a waiting list.

 The event consists of 5 - 20 minute interactive sessions on Florida Agriculture. Topics include: Beef, Strawberries, Dairy, Citrus, Forestry, Insects, Bees and many more. Volunteers from the commodity groups of Hillsborough County, Farm Bureau, State Fair and the Extension Service with Master Gardeners and 4-H make up the instructors and volunteers that participate in this educational experience. More than 200 volunteers make this event happen!
